01Our Commitment to Your Privacy
Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to primaryobjective.com (the "Site") and to the domains that direct visitors here: theauctiondivas.com, liveeventfundraising.com and shellystjohn.com.
The Site is operated by Primary Objective, a DBA of The Auction Divas, LLC ("Primary Objective," "we," "us" or "our"), which governs data collection and usage. The Auction Divas, Live Event Fundraising and Shelly St John are brands of The Auction Divas, LLC.
The Site is a marketing and information site for brand strategy, donor and sponsor development, benefit auctioneering, travel packages, live crowdfunding and speaking. By using the Site, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
02Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it. You may choose to give us personal information when you:
- send us a message through a contact form on the Site;
- email or call us;
- subscribe to our email list or request a resource;
- inquire about or arrange a service, including travel packages.
What you give us this way is typically your name, organization, email address, telephone number and whatever you choose to write in your message. We use it to respond to you and to communicate with you about the services you asked about.
Collected automatically
Information about your computer hardware and software may be collected automatically. This can include your IP address, browser type, domain name, access times, pages viewed and referring website addresses. We use it to operate and maintain the Site, to keep it secure, and to understand which pages visitors find most useful.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information through the Site, and we ask that you not send it to us through a contact form or by email.
03How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiry and provide the services you request;
- send announcements, resources, invitations and other communications you have asked to receive;
- operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site;
- meet our legal, tax and recordkeeping obligations.
04Email Communications
From time to time we may contact you by email with announcements, offers, confirmations, surveys and other general communication. If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional email from us, use the unsubscribe link in any such message, or write to us at the address at the end of this policy. Every email vendor we use provides an opt-out or unsubscribe option.
We will continue to send you email that is necessary to a service you have engaged us for, such as scheduling and confirmations, even if you opt out of marketing email.
07Embedded Content from Other Websites
Pages on the Site may include embedded content such as videos, images or forms hosted elsewhere. Embedded content from another website behaves as though you had visited that website: it may collect data about you, set cookies, include additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that content, including if you are logged in to that website.
08Links to Other Sites
The Site contains links to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to be aware when you leave our Site and to read the privacy statement of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.
09How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep inquiries and correspondence for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our business, client and tax records. Email subscribers are kept on our list until they unsubscribe or ask to be removed.
10Security of Your Personal Information
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure, including encryption of information transmitted to and from the Site using the SSL/TLS protocol.
No data transmission over the internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be completely secure. While we work to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the internet that are beyond our control; and (b) the security, integrity and privacy of information exchanged between you and us through the Site cannot be guaranteed.
11Where Your Data Is Stored
We may store your data on servers provided by third-party hosting and software vendors with whom we have contracted, including our website platform and email provider. These vendors operate in the United States.
12Payment Processing
We do not accept payment through the Site and do not store payment card information. Where you pay us for a service by another means, payment is handled by our payment processors, and card information is stored on their secure servers under their own privacy and security policies.
13Your Privacy Rights
You may ask us at any time to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you, and provide a copy of it;
- correct personal information that is inaccurate;
- delete personal information we hold about you;
- stop sending you marketing email.
To make a request, write to us using the contact information below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity first. Some information must be kept for legal, tax, administrative or security reasons.
Colorado residents have these rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, and residents of other states may have similar rights under their own laws. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will tell you the outcome of the appeal.
We will not deny you goods or services, or charge you a different price, because you exercised a privacy right.
14Children Under Thirteen
Primary Objective does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.
15Changes to This Statement
Primary Objective reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will tell you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by placing a prominent notice on the Site, by emailing you, or by updating this page. Your continued use of the Site after such a change constitutes your acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy and your agreement to be bound by it.
